Product Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer (NPI/Manufacturing/High Precision)

Job Responsibilities

• Support product engineering activities throughout the product lifecycle, from introduction to mass production.

• Act as the technical interface between R&D, production, quality, and customers.

• Analyze product performance, yield, and reliability issues, and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

• Prepare and maintain product specifications, technical documentation, and change records.

• Support new product introduction (NPI), including process transfer, qualification, and ramp-up activities.

• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve process capability, cost, quality, and cycle time.

• Support customer technical inquiries, product customization, and engineering change requests.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and engineering projects aligned with SCHOTT's global standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Chemical, or related disciplines).
• 2-5 years of experience in a Product Engineer / Process Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer role, preferably in high-precision manufacturing, electronics, or semiconductor-related industries.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and product documentation.
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration with production, QA, and R&D teams.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills (e.g. RCA, 8D, FMEA experience is an advantage).
• Effective communication skills able to interface with both internal stakeholders and customers.
• Proficient in MS Office experience with ERP or PLM systems is a plus.
