Job Descriptions: Product Lifecycle Management
- Manage assigned products throughout the full lifecycle, from design through end-of-life.
- Develop and maintain NPI schedules to ensure timely transition to mass production.
- Oversee product transfer from design to NPI and production across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cost efficiency, processes, and overall performance.
Production Release & Governance
- Collaborate closely with Design Centres, Product Management, Supply Chain, Quality, Purchasing, and Operations teams.
- Facilitate production release reviews, ensuring all required documentation and approvals are in place.
- Support manufacturing sites in achieving targeted yields during production release.
Prototype & Pilot Build Support
- Coordinate prototype and pilot builds, ensuring necessary resources and materials are available.
- Work with suppliers and purchasing teams to ensure component readiness.
- Gather DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and PFMEA feedback from pilot builds and relay insights to design teams.
- Ensure all technical documentation is accurate and properly maintained in internal databases.
BOM, SAP & ECN Management
- Maintain SuperBOMs in SAP using standardised part numbers.
- Partner with the Material Master team to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Lead ECN (Engineering Change Notice) discussions with relevant stakeholders to manage product changes in accordance with established procedures.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in product engineering or NPI is a plus.
- Experience in product transfer within the electronics industry is a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently between Singapore and Malaysia.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
