Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Director to lead the strategy, development, and growth of AI-powered live streaming tools. This role will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the product team, and driving the full product lifecycle from concept to scale.
The successful candidate will combine strong product leadership, AI domain expertise, and commercial acumen to build innovative products that serve creators and businesses across Singapore and the Southeast Asia market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Planning
Lead the strategic development of AI-powered live streaming tools. Based on the characteristics of the Singapore and Southeast Asian markets as well as industry trends, develop mid- to long-term product strategies, annual product goals, and product iteration roadmaps. Define the product's core positioning and differentiated competitive advantages to ensure strong alignment with the company's overall business strategy.
2. Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination
Lead and manage the product team (including Product Managers and Product Associates). Oversee team recruitment, training, performance management, and motivation. Build an efficient product development and collaboration framework, and coordinate cross-functional resources across engineering, design, operations, and marketing teams to ensure efficient product delivery.
3. End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management
Take ownership of the full product lifecycle for AI-powered tools, including requirement discovery, user research, product design, prototyping, development coordination, testing, launch, and ongoing optimisation. Ensure strong focus on user experience and product usability while addressing key implementation challenges to deliver high-quality products efficiently.
4. Product & Operations Integration
Develop a deep understanding of the operational dynamics of the live streaming industry. Work closely with operations teams to design operational strategies, user growth initiatives, and engagement campaigns based on product capabilities. Drive improvements in user acquisition, engagement, and retention to maximise product impact and value.
5. Data-Driven Product Decision Making
Establish and maintain a robust product analytics and monitoring framework. Regularly analyse user behaviour data, product feature performance, and monetisation metrics to identify insights, user needs, and potential issues. Use data-driven insights to refine product strategy, prioritise iterations, and optimise monetisation models to improve core product KPIs.
6. Monetisation & Business Growth
Lead the design and execution of product monetisation strategies, such as subscription models, value-added services, and API partnerships. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to implement commercial initiatives, achieve revenue targets, and expand partnership opportunities across Singapore and Southeast Asia, thereby strengthening product market share.
7. Industry & Technology Monitoring
Continuously track developments in global AI technologies (such as AIGC, computer vision, and speech recognition) and their applications in the live streaming sector. Monitor competitor products and industry developments, incorporate best practices, and drive product innovation and feature enhancements to maintain industry leadership.
