Role Overview:

The Product Director will define the long-term product strategy of AYP Global Pay platform, build automation-first systems powered by AI, and lead a high-performing Product team. This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and user trust.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Product Vision & Future Strategy -Define and own AYP's long-term product and platform strategy, translating buyer insight, market shifts, and regulatory complexity into a clear, competitive roadmap that drives growth and Peace of Mind.

2. Deep User & Buyer Persona Understanding - Act as the ultimate owner of buyer and user truth, ensuring every product decision is grounded in real workflows, behaviours, and risk points across APAC.

3. Automation-First Platform - Design and scale an automation-first, AI-enabled platform that reduces manual work, improves accuracy, and creates sustainable operational leverage.

4. Product Execution & Cross-Functional Leadership - Set the standards, frameworks, and priorities that enable teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and scalable products with clarity and confidence.

5. Product & Process Organisation Leadership - Build and lead a high-performing Product and Process organisation with strong strategic thinking, user empathy, and disciplined decision-making.

Who you are:

  • Minimum 8 years of Product Management experience
  • Experience delivering AI-driven product features in real-world applications.
  • Deep understanding of UX, systems thinking, and end-to-end product journeys.
  • Exceptional ability to understand buyer personas and user behaviour across markets.
  • Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline.
  • Highly curious, adaptable, and growth-minded constantly learning and improving.
  • Ability to thrive in complex, multi-country, compliance-heavy environments.
