Product Development Engineering - System Test Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test systems for hardware-software products.
- Perform system-level testing-including functional, stress, performance, regression, and reliability tests-with emphasis on high-speed interfaces (USB, Ethernet, PCIe).
- Analyze test data, troubleshoot root causes, and provide clear feedback to engineering teams.
- Set up and manage test environments, including network configurations, documentation, logs, and issue tracking.
- Coordinate multiple test projects simultaneously while ensuring compliance with internal standards and continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on system/product testing experience across hardware and software, with strong understanding of embedded systems and hardware architectures.
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python) and familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, and test automation tools.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing/switching, and experience using traffic analysis tools (Wireshark, iperf, tcpdump).
- Experience with high-speed interface testing tools such as oscilloscopes, protocol analyzers, and BERT equipment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and multitasking skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
