Key Responsibilities:
Lead NPD activities for yellow spreads, from ideation to commercialization, tailored to Asian and African market needs.
Optimize recipes and production processes across multiple factories, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency.
Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for yellow spreads.
Collaborate with R&D, production, and commercial teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions.
Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies to guide product innovation.
Facilitate technical training, workshops, and knowledge transfer for internal teams and external partners.
Support regulatory compliance, documentation, and product registration for relevant markets.
Foster cross-functional collaboration to maximize product success and operational excellence.
Drive development work on a margarine pilot, overseeing formulation, testing, and scale-up to support innovation and commercialization efforts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related discipline.
Minimum 10 years experience in the food industry.
Proven track record in NPD, recipe development, and production optimization at the group level.
Strong technical knowledge of yellow spreads.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.
Analytical mindset, problem-solving ability, and ability to manage multiple projects.
Willingness to travel across Asia and Africa as required.
Experience with technical documentation and regulatory processes.
