Product Development Engineer (SLT-Shift)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accountable to drive and develop SLT FTR regression infrastructure to test weekly Firmware / Software releases before integration to SLT Test Program.
• Preemptively surface complex, novel, and non-recurring firmware / software issues and drive to resolution to improve SLT Test Program quality and integration time.
• Conduct engineering evaluations and analysis to drive closure of production issues.
• Influences technical decisions that have a significant impact on final product.
• Develop and apply new debug techniques to enhance technical depth in Product and Test Engineering.
• May provide technical supervision or mentoring junior engineers.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Strong knowledge and working experience on X86 architecture, GPU architecture, SoC design and power management features.
• Experience and with a good understanding of post silicon electrical and mixed signal circuitries.
• Familiar with using analyzers and oscilloscopes, and other debug tools.
• Experience with data center infrastructure is a plus.
• Strong and effective presentation, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work with geographically distributed product engineering teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Software programming and scripting proficiency (C, C++, Java, Perl, Ruby, Java, Python).
• Proficiency in Windows, Unix, and Linux operating systems.
• Working hours: Shifts working hours (night/weekend).
• 3 years or more industry experience.
