Work Mode: Work From Office (WFO) role.

Role Overview

Join the digital channel design team shaping the experiences across our mobile app and web ecosystem. You will work on foundational journeys that cut across products and markets: onboarding, home, navigation, servicing, accessibility, conversational and AI-led experiences. You will also design how customers stay safe while they bank, including authentication, security controls, scam prevention, fraud interventions and recovery, so that protection feels clear, considered and built into the experience.

You will partner with product, business, technology and research to turn ambiguity into useful, well-crafted experiences that scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape end-to-end design of key journeys, from opportunity framing and discovery through to shipped product and post-launch iteration.
• Turn customer insights, competitive analysis and data into clear product bets, experience principles and design decisions that move customer and business outcomes.
• Design at multiple fidelities, from sketches to prototypes, to help teams decide and ship at speed; de-risk complexity early through prototypes and experiments.
• Contribute to and extend the design system, ensuring consistency across channels while meeting accessibility and regulatory requirements.
• Champion UX quality within the team and connect design to commercial impact.
• Work with research to plan, conduct and synthesise studies, bringing the voice of the customer into everyday decisions.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped work that improved customer outcomes and key metrics.
• Systems thinking: ability to map complex journeys, define mental models and design patterns that scale across products and markets.
• Strong product thinking and visual craft: frames problems, explores options and lands clear, well-crafted solutions tied to strategy.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with senior partners and designers; able to explain the why and influence beyond your immediate team.
• Confident navigating ambiguity and constraints: structures messy problems, makes trade-offs explicit and follows through after launch.
• Curiosity about industry and design trends, including AI-assisted workflows, rapid prototyping and design-to-code practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience in fintech, banking or another complex, regulated sector.
• Exposure to security, fraud or scam-prevention experience design.
• Active contribution to the UX community.
