Product Design & R&D Director

Position: Director of Product Design & Research Development
Salary Range: SGD 7,000 - 9,000 monthly

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Product Design & R&D to lead our creative and technical teams in developing next-generation lifestyle and home products. This role requires someone with strong artistic intuition, the ability to translate aesthetics into commercial products, and a deep understanding of design innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the full product design and R&D cycle from concept to final development
• Establish creative direction and visual standards for all product lines
• Work closely with engineering and sourcing teams to ensure feasibility and quality
• Conduct market and trend research to guide product innovation
• Manage and mentor the design team, setting clear goals and development plans
• Oversee material selection, prototyping and product enhancement

Requirements:

• Proven experience in product design, industrial design or related R&D fields
• Strong artistic sense and ability to identify and shape visual trends
• Excellent communication, leadership and project-management skills
• Familiar with manufacturing processes and product lifecycle management
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
