Molex is looking forxa0Product Design Engineerxa0to design our industry leading high-speedxa0interconnect solutionsxa0for our customers.

What You Will Do

• Conceptualize and Design:xa0Lead and participate in design and development activities from concept to production with a well-defined Product Development Process.
• Design Improvement and Optimization:xa0Provide engineering support for product modifications, cost reductions, manufacturing process improvements, and other activities as required.
• Collaboration:xa0Work in a cross-functional team involved in new product development and manufacturing which may include interactions with team members across different time zones.
• Product Documentation:xa0Generate design specifications, design proposals and/or product designs that meet customer requirements.
• Innovation and Research:xa0Drive successful development of new product development projects, research and develop ideas for new and/or improved designs for the high-speed interconnect industry.
• Collaborative Problem-Solving:xa0Provide consultation to Sales or/and Marketing on design and engineering related matters.
• Additional Support:xa0Visit Customers, ODMs (Original Design Manufacturers), and CMs (Contract Manufacturers) to support product and manufacturing activities, if required.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bacheloru2019s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical and/or Manufacturing Engineering is preferred)
• Experience with advanced parametric 3D CAD systems
• Oral and written communication skills
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Team-oriented personality

What Will Put You Ahead

• Proficient in CAD & PLM software such as Siemens NX, Teamcenter & Polarion
• Design experience with high-speed interconnect solutions
• Experience in a connector design and manufacturing environment
