Responsibilities:
- Create and develop new datacom product designs from concept to market release
- Understand customer requirements and propose reliable solutions which are manufacturable and cost-effective
- Benchmark competitor designs and generate design proposals using CAD
- Lead design reviews and use of FMEA for testing and preventive actions
- Manage design documentation and patent considerations
- Support product launches and engineering processes for continuous improvements
Requirements:
- Min. Diploma in Mechanical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent
- Min. 5 years of experience in product design and development in electronic components
- Bilingual in English & Mandarin to liaise with vendors from China
- Experience in NX CAD software is preferred
