Responsibilities
- Assist engineers in planning and formulating action plans.
- Draft design drawings and technical standards under supervision.
- Conduct cell analysis and evaluation.
- Analyze results from engineering tests.
- Execute sample creation, line trials, or test runs.
- Manage sample shipments effectively.
- Undertake assigned projects or tasks from supervisors, including alternate roles.
- Adhere to workplace safety and health policies, following all relevant safety procedures and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
- Understand environmental policies, objectives, and corporate requirements.
- Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) processes for various battery cells.
- Support line expansions and material change initiatives for cost efficiency.
- Engage in design reviews and standardization efforts to enhance quality and productivity.
- Collaborate with QA and sales departments regarding customer inquiries and support quality investigations.
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualifications in Mechanical, Material, or Chemical Engineering is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred.
- Strong analytical, project management, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
- Ability to maintain a positive attitude in challenging environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office familiarity with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, JMP, SPC, DOE, and Statistics is advantageous.
- Capacity to work in cleanroom and dry room conditions (0% humidity).
