Morgan McKinley is hiring for a Product Business Analyst for a 6-month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!
Responsibilities:
- Support Product Sub Value Stream (SVS) outcomes related to new product launches, enhancements, campaigns, fund launches, and Day 2 build activities.
- Define project scope, lead user requirement gathering, and document comprehensive business requirements for system development.
- Assist the Scrum Master with user story grooming, SME requirements gathering, and ensuring clarity in development tasks.
- Manage project activities such as creating and grooming user stories, developing test cases, conducting testing, raising defects, and resolving issues.
- Coordinate with cross-functional and regional teams to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication.
- Plan and execute system testing, verify results pre- and post-release, and prepare training documentation for new systems and enhancements.
- Facilitate communication between IT and business users, and support ad hoc tasks assigned by the Product Sub Value Stream (SVS) Delivery Lead or Product Owners.
Requirements:
- University degree in Business, Finance, IT, or related disciplines with at least 3 years of experience as Business Analyst.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a structured and assertive approach to work.
- Ability to map and review end-to-end processes, with excellent written and verbal communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Credibility and confidence to lead critical projects, conduct workshops, and engage stakeholders independently; familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus
- Proven interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing abilities.
