Morgan McKinley is hiring for a Technical Business Support Engineer for a 12-month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and prioritize daily customer support tickets, handling triage and escalation as needed.
- Respond to alerts indicating out-of-trend metrics, coordinating action with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide daily business summaries for hand-over between regions and review inbound emergency escalations.
- Identify recurring issues and develop runbooks or guides to facilitate resolution.
- Build dashboards to track support health metrics and proactively communicate customer issues across teams.
Requirements:
- BA/BSc degree in a computer-related field with over 4 years of experience in technical support, site reliability engineering, or similar roles.
- At least 2 years of project experience, effective in communication across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Shell, or Java, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experienced working with multicultural, multilingual global teams, developing business operations from scratch, and engaging with cross-functional partners.
- Skilled in working independently, prioritizing tasks with minimal supervision, and collaborating effectively with international teams and external stakeholders.
- Additional experience with full web stack development, REST APIs, SQL, managing customer relationships, and implementing process improvements in fast-paced environment
