This Position reports to:

Product Marketing Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical bridge between our products, customers, and sales teams, ensuring the right solutions are applied in the right way. As a Product Application Engineer, you will support product selection, system design, and technical proposals, assist with troubleshooting and customer queries, and provide training to internal teams and partners. You will also gather insights from the field to improve product positioning and identify new opportunities, helping to turn technical expertise into real commercial impact.


The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Building and Smart Power in Singapore.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Provide technical application support for ABB low-voltage products, including product selection, sizing, compliance to IEC standards, and product warranty guidance.

  • Support pre-sales and project execution by preparing technical proposals, validating solutions, and ensuring proper system integration.

  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical training, and develop application notes and materials for customers and channel partners.

  • Troubleshoot application issues and collaborate with R&D and product management to resolve technical and warranty-related cases while improving product performance and competitiveness.


Qualifications for the role

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

  • Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems and IEC standards.

  • Hands-on experience with electrical protection devices, motor control, and energy management solutions.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and technical teams.

  • Preferably with min 3 years of working experience in related fields.
