Job Description
We're recruiting a Producer at CHOW who will play a vital role in bringing our team's and Clients creative visions to life. Success lies in effective problem-solving, careful planning, and the management of working teams toward shared goals. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, highly organised, and able to manage multiple timelines while staying on top of trends and best practices.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day logistics for social, photo, and video content production, from scheduling and budgeting to coordination with creative teams.
- Manage assigned ad-hoc projects and social media accounts from pitch to handover.
- Plan and track project and account budgets; collaborate with teams to set and manage realistic costs.
- Handle and document production contracts and negotiations with freelancers and vendors.
- Lead talent and crew sourcing, guided by industry knowledge, talent trends, and fair compensation standards for delegated accounts and projects.
- Secure locations and resources, including site recce and production runs when needed.
- Work with creative and production teams from pre- to post-production, ensuring smooth execution, troubleshooting, WIP management, and final delivery.
- Contribute to content and visual ideation by leveraging insight into client needs, trends, and agency capabilities.
- Offer informed input on trends, platforms, and production stages from pre- to post-production.
- Embrace a collaborative workflow across internal teams, clients, and partners.
Core Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of production experience in a creative agency, production house or in-house content team, across social, photo and video shoots.
- Proven ability to build, track and reconcile production budgets and cost estimates, and to flag overruns early.
- A working network of freelancers and vendors, including photographers, videographers, stylists, talent, and studios, with a sound knowledge of local market rates.
- Confident handling contracts, quotations, usage rights and talent releases, and clear on PDPA obligations when holding talent and crew data.
- Strong shoot-day command: call sheets, shot lists, run-of-show, location permissions and on-set troubleshooting.
- Experience managing post-production, including edit rounds, WIP tracking, version control and delivery to platform specifications.
- Fluent in Asana and Google Workspace for timelines, briefs and file hygiene.
- Clear, calm client-facing communication: able to set expectations, hold scope and escalate early.
- Able to run several concurrent productions and deadlines without losing detail.
- Preferred: F&B or hospitality production experience, and working knowledge of vendors for cross-border shoots.
This role is a 6-month contract role, with an opportunity for extension.
