Source, negotiate and procurement of materials, equipment, and services to meet operational requirements and business objectives. That is, considering suppliers of raw materials/equipment and services meet and are in line with the specified cost, quality, quantity and delivery targets to ensure continuity of supply.
Work closely/ collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers on material/ equipment qualification and continual supply to minimize operation disruptions.
Negotiate purchasing contracts and terms of business with suppliers, review opportunities to make business savings utilizing best practice tools and methods.
Manage supply chain from demand planning to logistics, warehouse and inventory level and accuracy as well as export/shipping requirements
Monitor market trends and conduct pricing research, advise on issues which present risk or opportunity to the business.
Perform risk assessment for supply contracts and agreements.
Establish and maintain proper documentation, record, and contract management.
Any other projects or assignment given by management (if any)
Key Responsibilities
At least 2 years of relevant experience in buying and production planning.
Proficient in English and Mandarin language.
Prior experience in manufacturing in food industry will be an added advantage.
Proficient in MS Office, especially advanced Excel and SAP preferred
