- Ensure all service providers comply with TE HSEQ policy.
- Negotiate with 3rd party suppliers in Asia Pacific and Middle East to achieve most competitive pricing
- Sourcing of new product supply in APME. Securing supply, services and competitive pricing through contract / service agreements.
- Main interface with Sourcing and Operations, especially when there is a tight supply situation
- Drive negotiations with freight forwarders, warehousing, packaging and storage providers in collaboration with Global and Regional Procurement teams
- Manage and optimize various product supply sources through strategic mapping. Award supply in accordance with best optimal total cost
- Work with sales team to manage product pricing risk through hedging
- Optimize freight cost and ensure storage costs recovery through economic evaluations, monthly stewardship of operating costs through reporting. Contribute to annual budgeting
- Lead Operations Team to ensure seamless and timely order fulfilment. Orders are timely and accurate recorded into the system.
- Supervise day-to-day logistics and supply activities
- Manage monthly supply/demand planning from APME Affiliates and chairs monthly SNOP meetings
- Inventory Planning at storage sites
- Work closely on the chartering of bulk vessels.
- Strategically collaborate with other TE business lines to share the cost saving, freight services, fuel additive operations, base oils purchase and blending operations
- Drive automation and adoption of tools to streamline & improve operations processes
