The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with a leading manufacturing business to hire a Procurement Specialist to support RFQ and NPI activities within a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role will focus on build-to-print sourcing (including cable assemblies), supplier qualification, and ensuring material readiness to meet project timelines, cost, and quality targets.
The Job:
- Develop and execute category strategies to drive cost optimization, quality, and supply security
- Manage sourcing for electrical components (e.g. cable assemblies, connectors, OEM parts)
- Conduct market analysis to identify cost drivers, supplier capabilities, and sourcing opportunities
- Drive supplier development, qualification, and performance improvement
- Support NPI and production transfer, ensuring supplier readiness and on-time delivery
- Lead RFQs, contract negotiations, and cost reduction initiatives (incl. should-cost analysis)
- Build and manage a global supplier base, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Operations to align sourcing with technical requirements
- Monitor supplier performance, risks, and KPIs
The Talent:
- Min. 5 years of experience in procurement / sourcing within high-tech manufacturing environment
- Strong experience in build-to-print sourcing, including:Cable assemblies / wire harnessMachining / sheet metalPCBA
- Exposure to NPI, production transfer, or project-based procurement
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and supplier capabilities
- Hands-on in cost analysis, TCO, and supplier negotiation
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
