Procurement & Operations Manager

Oversee daily operations of the wholesale vegetable and fresh produce business

Manage procurement and sourcing of vegetables and fresh produce from suppliers

Liaise and negotiate with suppliers on pricing, stock availability, delivery schedules, and purchasing terms

Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, and replenishment planning

Coordinate warehouse operations, packing activities, and outbound deliveries

Ensure proper stock rotation and minimise inventory wastage and losses

Plan and coordinate delivery schedules with drivers and logistics teams

Supervise operational staff including warehouse assistants, packers, and drivers

Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace safety, and operational procedures

Handle operational issues, urgent fulfilment requests, and customer coordination matters

Prepare procurement, inventory, and operational reports for management review

Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, cost control, and workflow processes

Support business growth through effective operational and procurement planning
