Role Description

The Procurement Manager / Vendor Operations Analyst is responsible for managing procurement activities, vendor operations, and supply chain coordination to ensure cost-effective purchasing, operational efficiency, and reliable supplier performance. This role focuses on sourcing strategies, vendor management, procurement analysis, contract coordination, and operational optimization while supporting business continuity and organizational goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing procurement operations, sourcing activities, and vendor coordination processes across business functions
  • Monitoring procurement KPIs, supplier performance metrics, operational costs, and purchasing efficiency indicators
  • Conducting vendor evaluations, supplier negotiations, and contract management activities
  • Collaborating with finance, operations, logistics, warehouse, and business teams on procurement and supply chain requirements
  • Supporting inventory planning, demand forecasting, and procurement optimization initiatives
  • Preparing procurement reports, vendor analysis, and operational updates for management review
  • Managing purchase orders, procurement documentation, supplier records, and compliance processes
  • Driving process improvement, cost reduction, and operational efficiency initiatives within procurement and vendor operations
  • Ensuring compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and contractual obligations
  • Supporting risk management, supplier diversification, and business continuity planning activities
  • Managing stakeholder communication, issue resolution, and escalation processes related to vendors and procurement operations
  • Staying updated on market trends, supplier capabilities, and sourcing strategies to improve procurement performance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or related field
  • 3–8 years of experience in procurement, vendor management, sourcing operations, or supply chain analysis roles
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and operational governance practices
  • Experience with ERP systems, procurement platforms, inventory management systems, and reporting tools
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, procurement analytics tools, and operational reporting platforms
  • Ability to manage multiple procurement priorities and vendor relationships effectively
  • Strong cost-management and operational planning mindset
  • Experience in manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, retail, technology, FMCG, or multinational corporate environments is an advantage
