Procurement Officer (electronics and mechanical industry)
Location: Bedok South
Working Days: Mon - Fri, 5 days
Working Hours: 8.00 am to 5.30pm
Salary: Basic $3000 to $4000+PB+AWS+Annual Increment

Job scope:

Source, identify, research, and evaluate suppliers and stockists that meet the organization's requirements for quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
Identify sales promotions, supplier rebates, and other cost-saving opportunities to achieve procurement savings.
Assess supplier capabilities and products to ensure compliance with technical specifications, quality requirements, and delivery commitments.
Analyze supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules, and execute purchases within approved authority limits.
Manage and monitor customer forecasts, inventory levels, production schedules, purchase requisitions, and purchase orders to support operational requirements.
Track and follow up on purchase orders with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and communicate order status to internal stakeholders.
Source alternative suppliers and stockists to mitigate supply disruptions and ensure business continuity.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure key objectives relating to Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Flexibility (QDCF) are consistently achieved.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and strategic partners to support long-term business objectives.
Liaise with customers regarding obsolete parts management, last-time buys, and alternative sourcing solutions.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain activities.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable aerospace or manufacturing requirements.

Requirements:

Diploma/Degree in Manufacturing, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline with at least 2 years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of AS9100 Aerospace Quality Management Systems and/or ISO 9001 requirements.
Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
