Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Procurement Manager to lead our Provision Profit Center in Singapore. This role will be responsible for driving profitability, managing global procurement strategies, and optimizing supplier performance across both local and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities- Drive and achieve the Provision Profit Center's EBIT, sales margin, and revenue targets for the Singapore office
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for both Singapore and international operations
- Manage and maintain international provision data, ensuring consistency and accuracy across systems
- Analyze global market pricing trends and establish competitive local pricing for key products
- Conduct and ensure robust supplier due diligence at onboarding and throughout the supplier lifecycle
- Optimize departmental resources to achieve maximum operational efficiency and sales performance
- Lead supplier management, including negotiation, performance monitoring, and strategic partnerships
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify process gaps and drive continuous improvements
- Manage ERP system setup including price lists, default supplier configuration, supplier selection, and registration
- Rationalize and consolidate local supplier base, negotiate contract pricing, and drive cost savings
- Motivate and develop team members, foster teamwork across departments, and conduct regular performance reviews
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and actively participate in training to enhance management capability
Requirements
- Minimum 7–10 years of procurement experience, preferably in marine, offshore, FMCG, or international trading environments.
- Strong expertise in international sourcing, supplier negotiation, and global procurement management.
- Proven commercial acumen with solid understanding of market trends and pricing structures.
- Demonstrated leadership, planning, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Self-driven, independent, and able to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Bilingual candidates will be an advantage.
