Job Description

Overview

This is a growing energy infrastructure platform focused on delivering innovative, sustainable, and resilient energy solutions across the Asia Pacific region. The business is involved in the development, delivery, and operations of distributed energy assets that support commercial and industrial customers in their decarbonisation and electrification journeys. To support its continued expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Procurement Manager to establish and lead procurement and supply chain capabilities across a diverse portfolio of energy transition projects.

Role

Reporting to senior leadership, the Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping procurement strategy, supplier engagement and commercial management across multiple projects. You will drive strategic sourcing initiatives, manage competitive tender processes, negotiate major equipment and service contracts, and develop strong partnerships with technology vendors, EPC contractors and key suppliers. Working closely with engineering, project development, finance and operations teams, you will ensure procurement activities are aligned with project schedules, budgets and operational requirements. The role will also be responsible for implementing procurement governance frameworks, strengthening supplier performance management and proactively managing supply chain risks across regional markets.

Requirements

The successful candidate is degree qualified in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or a related discipline, with around 10 years of procurement, sourcing or supply chain experience within the energy, utilities, infrastructure, renewables, industrial or data centre sectors. You will possess proven experience managing complex procurement programmes, commercial negotiations and strategic supplier partnerships. Exposure to capital projects, industrial equipment, engineering services or large-scale infrastructure developments will be highly regarded. Candidates should demonstrate strong commercial acumen, stakeholder management capabilities and experience working within project-based environments across regional markets. Prior experience with developers, owners, operators, engineering contractors, industrial companies or infrastructure investment platforms will be viewed favourably.
