We Are Looking For

A Procurement Manager for our headquarters in Singapore, where you will provide strategic guidance, support, and oversight for procurement activities across multiple countries.

Role Summary

As a Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in driving procurement excellence across both new and existing markets. You will lead strategic sourcing (RFPs/RFQs), supplier negotiations, and issue resolution for platform-wide categories such as MEP, IT infrastructure, general contractors, and customer-facing equipment. Working closely with country teams, suppliers, and stakeholders, you will ensure cost-effectiveness, lead-time alignment, and contractual clarity, with a strong emphasis on data integrity and risk management.

You may be assigned procurement responsibilities for one or more countries, with flexibility to adapt as business needs evolve. This includes acting as a buyer for new markets or supporting local teams in countries requiring additional assistance.

Beyond country-specific work, you will also contribute to process development, global procurement initiatives, and special projects. Ensuring compliance with procurement governance and supporting continuous strategic improvement are key parts of the role.

Occasional business travel may be required.

Job Responsibilities

1. RFP Management & Strategic Sourcing

  • Lead end-to-end execution of RFPs/RFQs for data center projects in new countries.
  • Support country procurement teams with strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and contract award recommendations.
  • Ensure alignment of sourcing strategies with project timelines, design intent, and cost objectives.

2. Supplier & Issue Resolution

  • Serve as the escalation point for supplier issues related to pricing, lead times, compliance, and customer-specific IT/technical requirements.
  • Resolve disputes and bottlenecks through negotiation and cross-functional collaboration.

3. Country-Specific Procurement

  • Act as the procurement buyer for newly established countries or where local teams need support.
  • Manage procurement responsibilities for assigned countries, with flexibility to adapt as business needs evolve.
  • Guide regional teams on sourcing, vendor selection, RFI/RFP execution, price benchmarking, and contract validation.

4. Supplier & Vendor Management

  • Oversee supplier onboarding, qualification, and performance evaluations.
  • Float RFPs, obtain quotes, conduct commercial analysis, and negotiate optimal contract terms.
  • Ensure suppliers meet cost, quality, and delivery milestones.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Maintain dashboards, trackers, and MIS reports for spend, savings, and procurement performance.
  • Analyze bid data, pricing trends, and market intelligence to identify cost optimization opportunities.
  • Prepare recommendation notes and procurement presentations for management review.

6. Procurement Governance & Cost Validation

  • Ensure adherence to procurement policies, SOPs, and approval matrices across assigned countries.
  • Review and validate cost structures, contracts, and ERP approval requests to ensure compliance and cost competitiveness.
  • Benchmark pricing against market trends and verify variances.

7. Global Procurement Strategy & Process Improvement

  • Contribute to procurement governance, compliance efforts, and continuous process improvement.
  • Support the development and rollout of global procurement initiatives and tools.

8. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Special Projects

  • Work closely with project, engineering, legal, operations, and finance teams to align procurement efforts.
  • Lead or support strategic procurement initiatives and high-impact projects across regions.

9. Stakeholder Communication & Business Travel

  • Represent procurement in leadership reviews and cross-functional meetings.
  • Provide on-site support across regions when needed to ensure supplier engagement and project success.

10. Operational Support & Reporting

  • Coordinate meetings with technical teams/vendors and document MoMs.
  • Initiate and monitor supplier registration processes.
  • Track open POs, variation orders, and follow up for timely closure.
  • Monitor procurement budgets in alignment with financial goals.

Qualities You Should Have

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. Certification or master is a plus.
  • 8-10 years of procurement experience with 3+ years in the data center industry or equivalent complex infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working with general contractors, EPCs, or MEP subcontractors on data centers or critical infrastructure.
  • Proven track record in running regional/global RFPs and managing supplier negotiations.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure and customer-aligned technical requirements in data centers is a plusMust have experience for carrying out RFP/Tender procedure, Agreement Closure and Working in ERP (Oracle/SAP)
  • Strong problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across functions and geographies.
  • High level of analytical capability; comfortable with data-driven decision-making, Excel, and reporting tools.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in contract terms, pricing structures, and supplier proposals.
