Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the full spectrum of procurement activities for construction projects, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Oversee the end-to-end RFP (Request for Proposal) process, including preparation of tender documents, evaluation of bids, and recommendation of vendors.
- Develop procurement strategies to achieve cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery of goods and services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure reliable supply chain performance.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to secure the best value for the organization.
- Collaborate closely with project teams, QS, engineers, and management to understand project requirements and provide procurement solutions.
- Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team to strengthen capabilities and performance.
- Continuously review and improve procurement processes, policies, and systems to increase efficiency and transparency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- At least 7-10 years of procurement experience in the construction industry, with proven ability to lead procurement activities for medium to large-scale projects.
- Strong knowledge of the RFP process, tendering procedures, and contract management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide and develop a procurement team.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and MS Office applications.
