Job Summary
At Takagi Ramen, the Procurement, Logistics & Maintenance Executive manages the end-to-end supply chain while supporting the operational readiness of restaurant equipment and facilities. This role bridges the gap between sourcing goods and ensuring they reach restaurant outlets efficiently, while also ensuring that kitchen equipment and company facilities remain functional and well-maintained to support daily operations across multiple fast-paced locations.
The Executive will coordinate with both local and overseas suppliers, manage warehouse inventory, oversee delivery of supplies, and ensure preventive maintenance and timely repair of equipment. The role demands a highly motivated, proactive individual with a hunger to learn, strong organizational skills, adaptability to meet tight deadlines, and a focus on cost-effective operational flow.
Responsibilities
Logistics and Warehouse:
- Coordinate logistics to transport stock from warehouse to Takagi Ramen outlets on schedule
- Assist drivers with unloading goods at outlets when needed
- Unload goods from containers to warehouse efficiently and safely
- Operate Pallet Jack and Pallet Stacker to arrange warehouse stock in an orderly, safe, and clean manner
- Manage warehouse inventory by receiving, checking, ordering, and counting stocks from suppliers
- Track stock movement and maintain accurate inventory records
- Liaise with freight forwarders and handle import shipment documentation
- Conduct financial month-end and year-end physical stock takes and prepare listings
- Plan and execute logistics routes to ensure timely delivery of goods to all outlets
- Coordinate delivery schedules among suppliers, warehouse, central kitchen, and outlets
- Track deliveries and ensure proper documentation for stock transfers
- Respond promptly to supply chain disruptions and implement process improvements
Maintenance and Outlet Facilities:
- Coordinate and perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot kitchen equipment including noodle boilers, refrigerators, freezers, air-conditioning units, lighting, plumbing, doors, and electrical fittings
- Coordinate with external contractors or technicians for servicing and repairs as needed
- Schedule routine servicing and preventive maintenance for equipment
- Maintain maintenance logs and ensure timely resolution of equipment issues
- Ensure company equipment and facilities remain safe and serviceable
Procurement and Sourcing:
- Place purchase orders timely according to PAR levels to avoid material delays
- Monitor and expedite delivery of ordered materials as required
- Enter billing data for Takagi Ramen, Takagi Food, and Daichi Kitchen accurately
- Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by management
Required competencies and certifications
- ITE Certificate or Diploma in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience or fresh graduates with a can-do attitude
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Bachelor Degree (advantageous)
- Class 3 driving license (preferred)
