Procurement Executive

Duties & Responsibilities

. Support the company's operations through the purchase of materials and services from local and overseas sources

. Source for materials and services which offer the best value

. Purchase materials required in a timely manner

. Coordinate with operations and inventory management to ensure items required are purchased in a timely manner in shipyard store

. Ensure the quality of materialspurchased and that they are delivered ina timely manner

Requirements

. A university degree in any discipline

. At least 2 years experience inprocurement of materials and services from various sources, including overseassources

. Ability to negotiate effectively tosecure best value for the Company

• . Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
• Ability to navigate overseas supplier language barriers with ease.
• Ability to lias with internal stakeholders and inventory control executives at dispersed locations.
