Job Responsibility:
Source and manage local and international suppliers (specifically China/ASEAN). Lead negotiations regarding pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
Issue Purchase Orders (PO) and closely monitor delivery status to ensure on-time fulfillment.
Obtain and compare quotations and perform detailed cost analysis.
Maintain and update supplier database and procurement records.
Collaborate closely with warehouse, finance, and project teams to support operational requirements.
Monitor supplier performance and promptly resolve supply or delivery issues.
Support contract management and documentation.
Support cost-saving initiatives in purchasing and freight.
Ensure full compliance with company procurement and logistics procedures.
Track market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Undertake additional tasks & responsibilities as and when required or instructed.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
2-5 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
Familiar with import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
Experience liaising with freight forwarders and transport providers.
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Good communication and coordination ability.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
Knowledge of local / International procurement practices is an advantage.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
