Job Responsibilities:
STRATEGIC
- Implement procurement programs and develop knowledge and skill improvement
- Drive procurement cost reduction initiatives
- Support the development and drive the implementation of Group Procurement Strategies, policies and initiatives
- Implement the procurement processes
- Drive the alignment of Divisional SOP to GPPA and ensure compliance to GPPA
- Identifying procurement strategies to suit different business needs
OPERATION
Vendor Management
- Ensure new vendors are pre-qualified in accordance to GPPA/Division SOP requirement
- Support Online Vendor Registration (OVR) and ensuring full profile completion in the system
- Assist in vendor audit and performance evaluation
- Assist in updating the Approved Vendors List (AVL)
- Sourcing of new vendors to expand existing supplier base
Sourcing and Purchase Order
- Processing of purchase orders in accordance to Group Procurement Policy, and to administer the daily purchasing duties & documents
- Managing of purchase orders, open orders and invoices before submission for approval
- Sourcing of competitive proposals as required by the end user
- Conduct stock takes and support audits
Tender Management
- Administer Contract Management
- Prepare tender documents, arrange tender briefing
- Compile and evaluate tender submission in accordance to Division SOP/GPPA and make recommendations to Tender Committee
Job Requirements:
- Possess minimum A Level or Diploma in Business Related or Engineering course with minimum 2 years relevant working experience
