about the job
A dynamic, hybrid technical and procurement support role responsible for bridging vessel operations, supplier logistics, and technical compliance to ensure the fleet remains seaworthy and operationally ready.

  • End-to-End Marine Procurement: Source, negotiate, and execute the timely delivery of vessel requirements (spares, stores, and provisions) to ships at various global ports.

  • Technical & Compliance Support: Assist Technical Superintendents by planning and coordinating Class and Flag surveys to maintain valid trading certificates and vessel compliance.

  • Dry-Docking & Repair Logistics: Support dry-dock planning by reviewing yard specifications, compiling budget quotes, and tracking off-land items sent ashore for servicing.

  • Vendor & Documentation Management: Evaluate supplier performance for competitive pricing, maintain accurate inventory logs (e.g., gas bottles, spares), and ensure proper closure of purchase orders and invoices.

  • Dynamic and fast-paced with career growth prospects.
skills and experience required
  • Minimally a Diploma holder
  • At least 2 years of experience in technical purchasing/procurement within the maritime industry (vessel/fleet/tank/gas)
