Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Executive with experience in marine procurement, particularly in sourcing materials for shipbuilding and offshore projects. The role involves managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely procurement of materials, and supporting project teams to meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure materials required for marine and offshore projects, including steel, piping, mechanical components, and other shipbuilding materials.

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and competitive pricing.

  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of materials.

  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, and Commercial teams to understand material requirements and project timelines.

  • Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate procurement records.

  • Support vendor qualification, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.

  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, industry standards, and safety regulations.

  • Assist in cost analysis, supplier performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, or Engineering.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in the marine, offshore, or shipyard industry.

  • Strong knowledge of sourcing marine materials, including mechanical, piping, and structural components.

  • Proven experience in vendor management, negotiation, and contract administration.

  • Familiarity with project-based procurement processes and working with project teams.

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office experience with ERP procurement modules is a plus.

  • Knowledge of maritime standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements is advantageous.
