- Procuring both medical and non-medical consumables, as well as capex items, to facilitate routine and non-routine initiatives within the organization. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement processes.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including sourcing, obtaining quotations/bids, tender evaluation, and processing purchase orders in strict accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Negotiate with vendors to secure the best prices and favourable terms and conditions.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement appropriate measures.
- Add value through product standardization and innovative sourcing methods.
- Monitor and establish contracts to ensure a continuous and reliable supply of products and services.
- Prepare and review approval documents in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure that all purchasing activities adhere to approved authorities, compliance standards, and governance, with a keen awareness of non-compliance risks.
- Utilize inventory data to manage stockholdings and determine economic ordering quantities.
- Manage supplier performance through systematic tracking against predetermined criteria, identifying instances where corrective action is required.
Requirements
- At least diploma or degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
- At least 4+ years of purchasing-related experience in a mid-size organization.
- Work experience in the healthcare sector is considered advantageous.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with employees at all organizational levels.
- A collaborative team player with strong written and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, possessing strong problem-solving abilities
