Procurement Executive

• Own sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationships for your assigned commodity category (e.g. poultry or seafood)
• Prepare and review trade documentation before shipment or goods receipt for your category
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping agents on customs declaration and clearance
• Handle trade finance documentation - Bill of Lading tracking, CAD/bank collections, payment coordination
• Monitor warehouse/storage costs and coordinate cold store shipments for your category
• Review and verify supplier invoices from hauliers, 3PL providers, and cold storage facilities
• Liaise with finance, logistics, and sales on purchase requests, budget cycles, and delivery follow-ups
• Handle documentation requests (halal/health certificates, licences) tied to your category
• Provide daily operational support for purchase requests and issue resolution within your category

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, trading, or supply chain F&B or frozen food exposure is a plus
• Basic understanding of import/export processes and customs procedures
• Comfortable working with ERP/inventory systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central) - willingness to learn
• Good communication and coordination skills across departments and with external partners
• Comfortable owning a category independently while collaborating with the wider procurement team
