Job Description
Job Summary
A leading MultinationalCorporation (MNC) headquartered in Taiwan is establishing a new factory inSingapore. We are seeking an experienced Procurement Executive to support end-to-endprocurement cycle - from strategic supplier identification, evaluation andnegotiation to day-to-day purchasing, order management and supplier performancemonitoring - ensuring materials/services are procured at optimal cost, quality,and delivery terms to support business operations.
Job Descriptions
Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Conduct market research to identify, screen and qualify potential local & overseas suppliers maintain an Approved Vendor List (AVL).
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery terms, warranties and service-level agreements (SLAs) to secure best value and long-term cost savings.
- Draft, review and execute procurement contracts ensure compliance with company policies, Singapore laws and industry standards.
- Assess supplier capabilities, financial stability, quality systems and sustainability practices conduct periodic audits/evaluations.
- Monitor market trends, price fluctuations and supply risks develop alternative sources to mitigate shortages.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships drive continuous improvement and resolve strategic-level disputes.
Purchasing & Order Management
- Receive and review purchase requisitions (PR) from departments verify accuracy, budget availability and necessity.
- Raise and issue Purchase Orders (PO) to approved suppliers in accordance with agreed pricing and terms.
- Confirm delivery schedules, track order status, and actively follow up on pending or delayed shipments.
- Coordinate with warehouse, inventory and planning teams on stock levels, material requirements and delivery priorities.
- Perform 3-way matching (PO → Goods Received Note → Supplier Invoice) resolve price, quantity or quality discrepancies before payment.
- Handle routine supply issues, material substitutions, returns and warranty claims.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics or related field.
- [2-4] years procurement experience in Singapore familiar with local and regional supply chains.
- Strong negotiation, market research and vendor management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
- Knowledge of Singapore procurement practices, customs & import regulations is an advantage.
