Manage purchasing cycle including sourcing, planning, request for quotation, PO creation, PO follow up, good receipt and supplier payment request.
Source, negotiate and secure new parts and materials in accordance with Engineering and Manufacturing requirements with respect to quality, time and cost.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure alighment with KPI (Cost, Delivery, Quality, Service).
Price analysis, negotiation, and identify cost saving opportunities to maximize profit
To solve the ad-hoc issues with relavant departments. (eg: invoice discrepancy).
Plan the delivery of PO in order to maximize the Just-in-Time principles, and meet the CRDD.
Sensitive to potential problems and effective actions and thorough follow-up carried out to ensure the schedule is not jeopardized.
Support monthly and quarterly inventory target by managing open purchase orders.
Make tactical buying decisions and capable of executing strategy.
Collating and preparing reports of purchasing activities.
Forecast demand and replenishment of the necessary materials, and minimizing obsolescence.
Comply with and execute strategies in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Actively review existing vendors complying with corporate standards and objectives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum GCE O Level, Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
1 year of relavant experience in Procurement.
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (Training provided).
Sourcing, buying, and planning in oilfield equipment, raw materials, elastomer components will be added advantage.
Able to work independently, and initiative.
Possess Leadership capability, and able to work under pressure.
