Responsibilities:
- Coordinate procurement activities from requisition to supply in accordance with established procurement policies and procedures
- nsure materials and services are procured at the most competitive price, with timely delivery and favourable terms and consitions
- Source, negotiate and purchase materials and services fromapproved local and overseas suppliers
- Advise requestors on suitable supplier selection and procurement terms and conditions
- Generate purchase orders and monitor order progress to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Follow up and expedite deliveries with suppliers when necessary
- Track delivery status and ensure procurement requirements are fulfilled according to project or operational needs
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration, or a related discipline
- At least 2 years of procurement-related working experience, preferably in the logistics or heavy haulage industry locally or overseas
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (eg. Pivot Tables, Vlookup)
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NAV, Epicor, Fleet on Cloud, Autocount, etc
- Strong team player with high integrity and a proactive work attitude
- Able to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines effectively
