Procurement Assistant (Construction)
East area, 5-days work week
Support on day-to-day procurement activities, coordinate with project teams and suppliers, and ensure smooth purchasing operations that align with project timelines, specifications, and company standards.
Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project and company requirements.
Maintain good relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
Follow established procurement procedures, documentation, and audit compliance in accordance with company policies.
Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of materials and minimize project delays.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
Prepare purchase orders and handle related documentation for management approval, DO matching, and tally with the invoices.
Support inventory control, material tracking, and cost monitoring when required.
Undertake any other ad-hoc assignments or duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of relevant purchasing experience in the construction industry.
Strong coordination, negotiation, and communication skills.
Good time management, accuracy, and attention to detail.
