Role Description

The Procurement Analyst / Procurement Manager / Procurement Director supports the sourcing of goods and services that meet business requirements, cost objectives, and quality expectations. Responsibilities include analysing expenditure, evaluating suppliers, coordinating sourcing activities, and monitoring commercial performance.

The Analyst provides spend analysis and sourcing insights. The Manager leads tenders, negotiations, contracts, and supplier relationships, while the Director sets procurement strategy, leads teams, and oversees purchasing governance, organisational spend, and supply risk.

Qualifications

Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Relevant experience in procurement analysis, purchasing, strategic sourcing, or supplier management.
Understanding of sourcing processes, supplier evaluation, commercial terms, and purchasing controls.
Strong analytical skills for assessing expenditure, pricing, supplier performance, and total cost of ownership.
Proficiency in Excel, ERP platforms, procurement systems, and reporting tools.
Ability to collaborate with Finance, Legal, business stakeholders, and external suppliers.
Strong communication skills, commercial judgement, and commitment to ethical procurement practices.
For analyst positions, experience validating procurement data, preparing reports, and identifying savings opportunities.
For manager positions, proven experience managing tenders, negotiating agreements, and improving supplier performance.
For director positions, experience developing procurement strategy, leading teams, and overseeing major spend portfolios; a relevant professional qualification is advantageous.
