Process Technician

Job Summary

NTi Technology is looking for a hands-on and responsible Process Technician to support pilot project installations, testing, and maintenance across various locations, including heavy industrial environments.

The candidate will assist in equipment setup, perform troubleshooting, and ensure smooth daily operations on-site. This role requires practical skills, independence, and a strong safety mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, setup, and commissioning of process equipment for pilot projects.

• Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and servicing of mechanical and electrical components.

• Troubleshoot and rectify basic equipment and process issues on-site.

• Support engineers during system testing, data collection, and performance monitoring.

• Handle tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

• Follow technical drawings, SOPs, and work instructions.

• Ensure compliance with site safety regulations, especially in heavy industry environments.

• Coordinate with site personnel and vendors when required.

• Maintain proper documentation and daily work reports.

• Ensure housekeeping and proper care of company equipment.

Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related technical field.

• 1-3 years of hands-on experience in industrial, construction, or plant environments preferred.

• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

• Able to use common hand tools and power tools confidently.

• Physically fit and comfortable working in heavy industry environments.

• Able to travel islandwide for project deployment.

• Responsible, independent, and proactive attitude.

• Basic troubleshooting skills.

• Class 3 driving license (preferred but not mandatory).

Preferred (Advantageous)

• Experience in water treatment, manufacturing plants, marine, or oil & gas environments.

• Familiarity with pumps, piping systems, valves, or instrumentation.

• Basic understanding of P&ID drawings.

• Forklift or other relevant certifications.
