Job Description

PURPOSE

The operations transformation subject matter expert provides deep functional expertise in new business, policy servicing and claim to drive the design and implementation of operations transformation initiatives. The role partners closely with operations functional leads, IT, project management to improve operations efficiency and customer experience that are aligned with our business strategy

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

  • Provide subject matter expertise across end to end operations processes.
  • Support design and implementation of operations and transformation initiatives.
  • Consult and discuss business requirements with operations leads and users.
  • Provide subject expertise and guidance to users, business analysts and IT developers.
  • Sign off requirement documentation, prepare test plan and execute testing.
  • Document processes, prepare training manuals and conduct training for internal users or intermediaries (if required).
  • Ensure transformation initiative adhere to regulatory, risk, and controls requirements.
  • Provide regular reports on implementation progress.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Degree holder
  • At least 8 years of experience in life insurance and has strong knowledge of operations processes.
  • Experience in operational transformation, process re-engineering.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY

  • Strong knowledge in life & health insurance
  • Good understanding on regulatory related to life and health insurance.
  • Strong leadership skill
  • Effective communicator
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skill
  • Good analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
