Process Engineering Lead

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineering Lead to take ownership of manufacturing process stability, performance, and continuous improvement across the full product life cycle, from NPI through ramp‑up, sustaining production, and end‑of‑life transitions.

This is a critical leadership role for a hands‑on engineering professional who thrives on the shop floor, enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges, and is passionate about building strong engineering teams.

What You Will Do

As the Process Engineering Lead, you will be the technical authority for sustaining engineering and process optimization while leading a team of Process Engineers to deliver excellence in yield, quality, cost, and manufacturing robustness.

You will:

• Own and continuously improve manufacturing processes across the full product life cycle (NPI to EOL).
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Process Engineers.
• Drive process stability, yield improvement, quality performance, and cost optimization.
• Act as the primary technical expert for sustaining engineering and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a strong shop‑floor presence and lead structured, data‑driven problem solving.
• Collaborate closely with Operations and Supply Chain Management stakeholders, including Quality Management, Procurement, Assembly as well as internal functions such as Equipment Engineering and NPI teams.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and good manufacturing practices.
• Support automation, lean manufacturing, and new technology adoption initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Experience

• 6–8 years of hands‑on engineering experience in a high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing environment.
• 2–4 years in a supervisory or technical leadership role managing or guiding engineers.
• Strong experience in sustaining engineering and full product life cycle support.
• Experience with SAP, Teamcenter, MATLAB, NI LabVIEW, or SPC tools (advantageous).
• Exposure to automation, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering.
• A relevant Master's degree is an advantage.
