Job Description
- Apply engineering principles and process engineering techniques to develop, optimize, and improve manufacturing processes in a semiconductor production environment.
- Monitor and analyze process performance, production yield, quality, cycle time, and equipment-related parameters to ensure processes meet operational and customer requirements.
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot process, manufacturing, equipment, and maintenance-related issues, and recommend appropriate engineering solutions and corrective actions.
- Perform root cause analysis for process abnormalities, defects, yield losses, and out-of-control conditions, and implement preventive and corrective measures.
- Develop, review, and maintain process specifications, work instructions, SOPs, control plans, and procedures for normal and out-of-control processes.
- Lead or participate in process improvement, yield enhancement, cost reduction, productivity, and manufacturing system improvement projects.
- Support process qualification, validation, testing, commissioning, and implementation of new equipment, materials, or manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement operational plans in accordance with project requirements, organizational objectives, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and recommendations to ensure stable and efficient manufacturing operations.
Requirement:
- Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Material Sciences or any other equivalent
- Relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, wafer fabrication, equipment/process integration, or other high-tech manufacturing environments.
- Good knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, process control, yield improvement, and manufacturing operations.
- Experience in process troubleshooting, root cause analysis, process optimization, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Able to interpret process data, engineering specifications, technical drawings, and equipment/process documentation.
- Experience in developing SOPs, work instructions, process specifications, and engineering reports.
- Experience in semiconductor cleanroom, equipment installation, process qualification, commissioning, or customer-site projects would be an advantage.
