Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all tests and assigned tasks are performed in a timely manner in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and company Quality and Safety Standards.
- Perform and review laboratory testing of raw materials, in-process samples and final products to ensure quality and consistency.
- Manage and perform maintenance of laboratory equipment including coordinating with third-party laboratories for calibration activities.
- Oversee column change operations for the DI water system.
- Manage and coordinate waste collection schedules.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance current products and meet evolving industry needs.
- Prepare samples for customer evaluation and submission.
- Conduct and support investigations into customer complaints including root cause analysis and report writing.
- Review and update Standard Operating Procedures, laboratory test methods and product documentation such as SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and TDS (Technical Data Sheets).
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field.
- Possess 2 years of relevant work experience in laboratory or process engineering environment is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of quality, safety and regulatory standards.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
