Position Summary
You will design, improve and support manufacturing processes at our Singapore site. You will work with operations, quality, engineering and safety teams to solve problems, deliver projects and improve performance. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Lead process engineering activities for NCE projects in the pilot plant, collaborating with Chemists, Operations, and Engineering teams to review scale-up requests and identify optimum plant configurations for efficient process transitioning.
- Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to restore and improve production reliability.
- Support process development and optimization to scale-up or tech transfer processes.
- Define and monitor key performance indicators and drive improvement actions with stakeholders.
- Support new equipment and computer system installation, commissioning, qualification and validation activities.
- Contribute to facility capital projects.
- Provide technical guidance and training to operators and colleagues to embed best practices.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biochemical or related engineering field.
- Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing or process engineering in pharmaceutical, biotech or related industry.
- Practical experience with process troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Experience supporting equipment and computer system commissioning, qualification or validation.
- Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), health and safety requirements. Conduct hazard assessments, complete Process Risk Assessments, review batch records, and prepare documentation such as Work Instructions (WIs) or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with a commitment to clear, respectful collaboration.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- 5+ years experience in pharmaceutical or biomanufacturing environments.
- Experience with continuous manufacturing, process analytical technology or process modeling.
- Knowledge of cleanroom standards and operations relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Experience with Biopharma synthesis workflows and scale-up, including familiarity with solid phase synthesis, purification techniques (e.g. IEX chromatography, TFF/UF/DF), freeze drying).
- Familiarity with computerized maintenance or manufacturing systems (e.g., SAP, MES).
Working arrangement
This role is on-site in Singapore. You will regularly collaborate across teams and be present in the manufacturing area to support operations and projects.
