Anter Consulting is hiring a Process Engineer to support one of our pharmaceutical clients in API manufacturing. This role is embedded within a GMP production environment and focuses heavily on chemical process operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, with strong exposure to automation and DeltaV systems.
This is a hands-on role suited for engineers who enjoy working close to production while developing broader technical exposure in process automation and manufacturing systems.
Provide day-to-day process engineering support for API manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production.
Act as a technical point of contact for chemical processes, supporting start-ups, routine operations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support and lead process changeovers, including assessment of process parameters, risk evaluations, and update of operating procedures.
Lead and support process troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Manage and support deviation investigations, change controls, and CAPAs in accordance with GMP requirements.
Support cleaning validation activities, including assessments, documentation, and continuous improvement of cleaning strategies.
Work closely with Automation and Operations teams in a highly automated environment, with exposure to process automation systems such as DeltaV.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Automation, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to support stable and robust manufacturing.
Support audits, inspections, and regulatory readiness related to API production activities.
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or a related discipline.
3-7 years of experience working in GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing, preferably within API or chemical manufacturing.
Strong understanding of chemical process operations, process troubleshooting, and deviation management.
Familiarity with changeover activities, cleaning validation, and GMP documentation.
Interest in or exposure to process automation and control systems (DeltaV experience is an advantage).
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Hands-on, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
