Job Summary
You will lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing unit to enhance productivity and operational efficiency. This role involves driving Venflon project execution, coaching teams on improvement methodologies, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards to support BD's commitment to quality and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and sustainment of BD Excellence work processes within the manufacturing unit to drive operational excellence
- Identify, plan, and execute productivity improvement projects that deliver measurable enhancements in manufacturing performance
- Manage Venflon improvement projects including change control, Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and process validation (IQ, OQ, PQ) to ensure successful production implementation
- Develop process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), work instructions, and manufacturing documentation to support validation activities
- Train and coach operators to perform validation tasks effectively, ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Analyze top manufacturing losses and develop targeted action plans to eliminate inefficiencies and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Coach associates on continuous improvement methodologies to foster a culture of sustained operational improvements
- Participate actively in cross-functional manufacturing projects as needed to support business objectives
- Ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace by enforcing compliance with Company safety rules, ISO14001 environmental standards, and promoting resource recycling and reduction initiatives
- Attend and complete all assigned safety programs and training promptly to maintain adherence to safety guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support manufacturing unit goals and BD's strategic priorities
