1. Job Description
1.1. Identifies, Plan and Drive waste reduction projects in Tubing and Cannula cell.
1.2. Understands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.
1.3. Project management for waste reduction projects, lead the team to complete all improvement activities successfully.
1.4. Coaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.
1.5. Responsible for manufacturing unit change control including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.
1.6. Participate in manufacturing projects when required.
1.7. Safety and ISO14001 Environmental accountability. Ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally friendly workplace by observing Company's rules and procedures. Active involvement in prevention, elimination of potential safety hazards and participation in activities which promotes recycling, replacement, and reduction of resource materials.
1.8. Safety & health accountability: Safety and health are important to BD and we encourage the observance of all safety programs and training assigned to you. Such programs are to be attended in a timely manner to ensure that work tasks carried out are in accordance with our safety guidelines and SOPs.
1.9. Perform any other tasks as assigned.
2. Education and Experience
2.1. Minimum Degree in relevant Engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical).
2.2. Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience with 2 years in medical manufacturing is preferred.
2.3. Project Management experience is preferred. Experience in yield improvement, waste reduction projects will have an advantage.
2.4 Proficient in statistical analysis and analytical software, such as Minitab, JMP etc.
