Key Responsibilities
Process Development & Bioreactor Operations
- Execute mid- to large-scale bioreactor runs in line with production and development schedules
- Identify and troubleshoot process issues, performing root cause analysis
- Design and run experiments to optimise process performance
- Document findings and recommend improvements to processes and techniques
Cell Culture
- Perform routine and large-scale mammalian cell culture
- Support process optimisation through experimental work
- Investigate and resolve technical challenges
Technical Transfer
- Support technology transfer activities to external manufacturing partners
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation in line with internal standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful process transfer
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare, analyse, and present experimental data
- Communicate findings clearly to internal stakeholders
Laboratory Operations
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure housekeeping standards
- Follow all laboratory procedures and compliance requirements
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards
- Identify and report risks or hazards
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences (or related field)
- 4–5 years experience in cell biology, bioprocessing, or cell therapy
- Hands-on experience in aseptic cell culture techniques
- Exposure to bioreactor processes is advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
