SUMMARY
Our client, a promising Biotech, are leading the way in innovation by delivering next-generation therapies to improve the lives of patients worldwide!
The core responsibilities are to conduct mid and full-scale bioreactor process for the manufacture of products. This includes supporting the technical transfer of the manufacturing process to the selected CMO, and performing routine and large-scale cell culture in 2D.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conducts mid and full-scale Bioreactor runs as per the agreed and defined schedule
- Identifies the root cause of problem/s
- Undertakes experiments to identify solutions to confirmed and identified problems
- Documents and reports experiment outcomes and designs and/or recommends technique or experiment design improvements
- Conducts routine and large-scale cell culture in 2D as per the agreed and defined schedule
- Identifies the root cause of problem/s

- Documents and reports experiment outcomes and designs and/or recommends technique or experiment design improvements
- Drafts, reviews, and presents reports of lab work
- Presents data routinely in line with the defined schedule
- Presents reports and/or data to relevant stakeholders
- Prepares documents within the appropriate documentation framework, submits for approval, and supports the implementation of approved documentation
- Actively contributes with ideas and recommendations for continuous improvement and presents evidence of activity in technical meetings
- Liaises and co-ordinates with Manufacturing and other stakeholders for successful and timely technical transfer
- Prepares and conducts relevant and timely training that relates to the technical transfer of the bioreactor process
- Participates in maintenance of equipment and laboratory housekeeping
- Participates in managing supply of gases in the lab
- Follows lab guidelines and procedures
- Ensure the work environment always meets the required health and safety standards
- Report and action any environment, health, and safety hazards identified either in the location or remote working environment
- Works with the individuals/team to eliminate the hazard/s
- Be compliant with the health and safety protocols
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors qualification is essential. Higher degree qualification is desirable
- 2 years experience in Cell Biology/ Cell Therapy
- Demonstrated experience in aseptic cell culture techniques
- Results-oriented and outcomes driven
- Flexibility to adapt to changing projects and deadlines
- Demonstrated application in written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated application analytical and problem-solving skills
- Presents ideas and views clearly
- Ability to work within a remote team
- Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail
